Showcase Showdown - Your Guide to Summer 2024's Games Events

We thought it was good idea to gather up all the times and stream locations for ease of access - so you don't miss anything you'd like to watch.

It's Showcase Season 2024!
Time to learn about all the new games coming soon.

Now remember, all of this is marketing, and it's never a good idea to skip anything in your life to have companies advertise to you.
With that said, there is something fun about the communal experience of watching the games showcases for the year ahead and getting a first look at everything cool to come.
Some of it might not even leak ahead of time!

With that in mind, we thought it was good idea to gather up all the times and stream locations for ease of access - so you don't miss anything you'd like to watch.
This is all inspired by Brad Lynch's excellent The Not-E3 Time Zone Chart™ which you can check out here if you'd like to see all this information presented in a way that's much more colour coded.

Otherwise, bookmark this page and get ready to be marketed at!

Warhammer Skulls - 23/05

Hosted by Rahul Kohli and typically more about highlighting the discounts in the accompanying platform wide sale - Skulls is usually not much to write home about.
This year though, we're guaranteed new updates for Darktide and for the upcoming Space Marine 2.

Times: 09:00PDT / 12:00:EDT / 17:00BST / 18:00CEST

PlayStation State of Play 30/05

Sony separate themselves from the pack again. Following a short investor presentation tomorrow morning, we'll be seeing them showcase 14 titles across 30 minites - and for both PS5 and PSVR2.
Scuttlebutt is that the biggest Playstation studio game here will be the upcoming live service, Concord - but we can also probably expect the next PC port to be announced, rumoured to be God of War: Ragnarok.

Times: 15:00PDT / 18:00:EDT / 23:00BST / 00:00CEST

Guerilla Collective - 06/06

First of the indie showcases, Guerilla Collective does a great job of giving some of the smallest teams from across the industry space to shine. If you're looking to see next year's indie darlings before anyone else - this is the one for you.

Times: 10:00PDT / 13:00:EDT / 18:00BST / 19:00CEST

Times: 08:00PDT / 11:00:EDT / 16:00BST / 17:00CEST

Summer Game Fest - 07/06

The Geoff Keighley advertising extravaganza is back. So far they've promised 55 partners worth of games, but you know the deal. No awards to slow us down this time, just hours and hours of marketing and awkward staging.

Times: 14:00PDT / 17:00:EDT / 22:00BST / 23:00CEST

Day of the Devs - 07/06

Everything you get frustrated by at SGF is then immediately remedied in Day of the Devs right after. Small teams, small games and some of the most creative titles of the coming year will be unveiled - with this being a labour of love from Double Fine and co.

Times: 16:00PDT / 19:00:EDT / 00:00BST / 01:00CEST
(BST/CEST times on 08/06)

Devolver Direct - O7/06

Part absurdist comedy skit, part showcase of upcoming games - the Devolver Direct is frequently unhinged, sometimes unsettling and always entertaining.
After delaying many of their 2023 releases, Devolver should be gearing up for a strong 2024 - so plenty to look forward to.
Plus it's Volvy's 15th Birthday Party!

Times: 17:00PDT / 20:00:EDT / 01:00BST / 02:00CEST
(BST/CEST times on 08/06)

Wholesome Direct - 08/06

Having carved out their space in the industry, Wholesome Direct is now part of the furniture - but their focus on uplifting small scale indie games and highlighting games and experiences that aren't going to blend in with the other showcases is still worth checking out.

Times: 09:00PDT / 12:00:EDT / 17:00BST / 18:00CEST

Latin American Games Showcase - 08/06

Like with Wholesome Games, part of the point of these showcases is to ensure everyone gets their space to highlight their work and present it, boasting a suite of indie hits from the region.

Times: 10:00PDT / 13:00:EDT / 18:00BST / 19:00CEST

Women Led Games Showcase - 08/06

Future Games Summer Showcase- 08/06

Future PLC's Gamesradar+ is a seasonal event, and typically comes hosted by voice actors of the given moment - this time Roger Clark (Arthur Morgan, RDR2) and Britt Baron (Tifa, FF&R) will be highlighting some of Gamesradar's Partners from the AAA, AA and Indie Spaces.

Times: 12:00PDT / 15:00:EDT / 20:00BST / 21:00CEST

Xbox Showcase + Call of Duty Event - 09/06

Xbox will probably not be talking about their layoffs and studio closures of 2024 so far - instead focussing on the games to come this year and their game pass partners they've secured.
And after that, the real business starts with an hour long look at the next Call of Duty.

Times: 10:00PDT / 13:00:EDT / 18:00BST / 19:00CEST

PC Gaming Show - 09/06

Celebrating it's tenth year, and hosted by the veteran team of Mica Burton, Sean 'Day9' Plott and Frankie Ward, the PC Gaming show will be back again to highlight exclusively the games that will be setting steam alight for the next 12 months.

Times: 13:00PDT / 16:00:EDT / 21:00BST / 22:00CEST

Ubisoft Forward - 10/06

Ubisoft can only cancel so many battle royales, so there must be something we can see on the 10th. Expect more gameplay for Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin's Creed: Shadows - plus plans for all of their ongoing live service titles.

Times: 10:00PDT / 13:00:EDT / 18:00BST / 19:00CEST
